NEW! Sacramento/ San Francisco K-Car Trip
A trip up to Sacramento in a K-CAR!!!  
  Heading Out North. 95-100 degrees down the steep grapevine and into the great central valley  
  Rest stop in Bakersfield  
  On to Fresno for dinner  
  Dinner in Fresno  
  Final Stretch to Sacramento  
  Midnight Jaunt. Ok, you couldn't see much, but at least we know we had a good time.  
  Sacramento Zoo  
  California State Capitol.  
  Chauffeur back to 1938 A true car nut has respect for all cars.  
  Car starts to overheat. No more unique place to overheat then in the center of downtown Sacramento  
  Keys Locked in Car. Our grand finale. Of course the best Sacramento pictures are kept here.  
An unexpected Trip to San Francisco: As stated earlier, our engine started to overheat in Sacramento. We didn't want to go back over the steep grapevines and  into the Los Angeles Basin, so what better, more logical way to go then to bypass all the mountains and take the leisurely coastal route back to LA. On the way back, we stopped by San Francisco  
  600 miles to go! Off to San Francisco!  
  (Music) When your going to San Francisco. By the way, for the records, we saw no one with flowers in their hair.  
  Heading Home along coastal route. What a wonderful state California has. The beaches were breezy and cool all the way back to Los Angeles.
