The Chrysler MEXICAN K-CAR LIMO. What is the real story behind it. Someone help us find out.!
Our fellow member, Javier of Mexico City, discovered a few days ago an American Chrysler Executive Limo with the 2.6 engine that was imported to Mexico in 1995. It appears to be the 1984 or 85 model. The K-Car Limo was never manufactured in Mexico, as far as we know, or do we? Chrysler kept poor records. According to a clip taken from a movie, and some hard to find sources, a few K-car limos may have been special ordered from the United States, imported, and even renamed. According to the last picture, there seems to have been at one time a Chrysler 600 Limo by Chrysler (Picture above). We may never know. Pictures below of Javier's find:
